Cuba Support Masterlist

A collection of ways to support the people of Cuba as they face a humanitarian crisis created by US embargoes.

Due to the intense US sanctions and embargoes that isolate Cuba from the global financial system, prevent most travel to the island, and limit the shipment of supplies, ways of supporting Cubans directly are limited.

There are grassroots efforts from around the country that are aiming to deliver aid directly to Cubans that need our support. Below is a collection of ongoing campaigns that will benefit from our support and monetary donations.

Ways to Donate

⚠️
There are currently over 11 million people in Cuba facing a humanitarian crisis due to the blockade of fuel to and from Cuba. It is estimated (as of this writing) that they have 10-12 days before they run out of fuel, affecting hospitals, food supplies, and other critical infrastructure.

There are several grassroots initiatives being organized to provide direct aid to Cubans by hand-delivering supplies to the country. Below are a few vetted efforts that are worth supporting.

‼️
When donating, be sure to label your donation as "Supplies" or "Support." DO NOT write "Cuba" as that may get your donation flagged and canceled.

Help provide medicines for Cuban children with leukemia and lymphoma | Organizers of the Hatuey Project met with Cuban doctors and nurses at Juan Manuel MΓ‘rquez Pediatric Hospital in Havana, at the JosΓ© Luis Miranda Pediatric Hospital in Santa Clara, and with the Institute of Hematology and Immunology in Havana, where they learned that doctors have been unable to purchase much-needed medications and materials. Learn more about their challenges in this video.

Donate to send medical supplies to Cuba (UK-specific) | Cuba Solidarity Campaign is a UK based organization collecting donations for their Cuba Vive campaign to purchase and ship critical medical supplies to Cuba.

Support the Nuestra America Flotilla | Nuestra America Flotilla is sailing to Cuba, bringing critical humanitarian aid for its people. They are asking for your support to help us prepare the mission and purchase the food and medicine that they will bring to the Cuban people in order to break the siege, save lives, and stand up for the cause of Cuban self-determination.

Help Send Solar-Powered Lights, Power Banks, Water Purifaction Tablets, and more to Cuba | Levante Por Cuba is a group based in Chicago, IL, USA that is organizing members to travel to Cuba and hand deliver critical supplies directly to Santiago de Cuba.
